The following video was sent to us by Cheryl A. regarding her encounter at Toms River Home Depot today. Another customer went off on Cheryl and her husband over their 22-month old child not wearing a mask. Cheryl’s story is below.
“This just happened to me and my husband Chris Aparicio at Home Depot in Toms River on Indiana hill rd. This guy started yelling at me because my 22 month old didn’t have a mask on, then he proceeded to grab something and threaten to beat my husband with it, ALL OVER MY CHILD NOT WEARING A MASK. I’m shook by this, I feel I can never bring my child out in public again. Thank god my husband was with me. Scary world we live in.”

Masks can cause suffocation on children under 3. It is not recommend that children 3 and lower wear masks for that reason. In addition, children under 3 have boosted immune systems which is why you don’t see kids getting it unless they have another condition. Do your homework before replying. This has been public knowledge for awhile now

The same thing happened to me over my son. He just turned 2 in April. I was at Walmart and they called the police on me because he wouldn’t keep his mask on and I wouldn’t leave! I only needed 3 things. I tried everything to get a mask on him right in front of them. They watched me struggle to get him to keep it on. At a certain point I knew I had to stop putting my hands all over his face so I proceeded to grab the things I needed and they called the cops on me! The other customers near by are what shocked me the most. They humiliated me. There were 5-7 people standing around watching yelling at me and berating me as a mother. It was an awful experience.
And when asked why I wouldn’t just leave him home with his father by one of the other customers, I calmly replied “not all of us have that luxury. My sons father is dead. Would you like me to leave him home with his urn that lives on my tv stand?” I’m so sick of people feeling entitled to judge one another. We’re all faced with a difficult time right now, and are forced to make difficult decisions. I wish people would trust that whatever decision we make regarding OUR own child is the best decision.
