The Little Egg Harbor Police Department responded to an attempted theft at the TD Bank located on Route 9, Little Egg Harbor, NJ this afternoon. The victim reported that after exiting the bank and entering her vehicle a Hispanic women wearing a white shirt and tan shorts knocked on the passenger side window advising her that there were tacks behind her vehicle’s tire. The victim also observed a thin Hispanic male nearby. The victim removed the tacks from behind her tire and reentered her vehicle. Upon entry of the vehicle she observed that the front passenger door of the vehicle was ajar, indicating someone entered the vehicle while she was removing the tacks. The victim was not harmed in any way and nothing was missing from her vehicle. A small dark blue SUV type vehicle was believed to be involved. (No further Information)

Approximately five (5) minutes after the above incident the Little Egg Harbor Police responded to a similar incident at the Bank of America located on Mathistown Road, Little Egg Harbor, NJ. The victim in this incident reported that after exiting the bank and entering his vehicle a female approached the passenger side of the vehicle and advised him that he dropped money on the ground behind his vehicle. The victim exited his vehicle and observed money behind it as well as a male subject. Knowing he did not drop money the victim became suspicious and immediately reentered
his car and locked the doors. As the victim left the parking lot he observed the male and female enter a copper colored Nissan car and leave the area. A small blue SUV was also observed in the area. The victim advised the female was wearing a white shirt and spoke with a Hispanic accent. The male actor was described as taller, short hair, wearing medical style mask. (No further information)
