Brick: Ocean Auto Tech (Brick Boulevard @ Beaverson). At approximately 12:15pm today, 3/17/20, a black 2013-2019 Ford Explorer traveling north bound on Brick Blvd ran up our curb, destroyed two flag poles, blasted a fire hydrant, messed up our landscaping, and kept driving away at 175 Brick Blvd, Ocean Auto Tech. This black 2013-2019 Ford Explorer (w/ a 3.5L ecoboost) will have front bumper damage, be missing a lower grille, which all will be visible from the front (the police officer took the grille). It’s missing A LOT of the under carriage plastic pieces. I’m surprised this vehicle can drive away honestly.
All the cost of this damage will be on us if we cannot find the license plate/vehicle/owner. I hope the person driving is okay. Yeah, it could’ve been worse, sure. But still, it’s not cool, regardless. Someone could’ve been walking there and could’ve been seriously hurt/killed.
