HOWELL — A man’s body has been found lying on Hurley Pond Road in Howell Township, according to local and county authorities.
Both the Howell Township Police and Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office confirm that the road is shut down during the investigation.
Police said in a Facebook post that they “believe this is an isolated incident with no additional threat to the public.”
Details are sketchy but authorities tell Jersey Shore Online that more information will be released later today.
Sounds like another hit and run asshole in Howell. Amazing.

They ruled out hit and run. My guess, Somebody dumped either a murdered person, or an accidental overdose, in the middle of Hurley pond rd, hoping a car would hit it, making it look like a hit pedestrian.
