Jennifer Cohen-Stump my son in law is Jason
Rachel they know each other, lol. I think he said he met your daughter yesterday there. My husband is Mike. Big dude, can’t miss him. ?
Sssooo… was this a pet snake, someone else’s snake or a random snake outside…. just wondering… just need to know where not to go if a random outside snake. ??
Roberta Staples Cartwright agreed we need to no. Yuck I hate snakes
Kim Dufour No joke – I literally freeze in my spot and spontaneously start crying, that’s how afraid I am.
Roberta Staples Cartwright me too ?
Haha .. then Avoid most parks in NJ. Ive seen snakes in all of them around here. Mostly rat snakes. They run away when spooked. not dangerous
If it’s not dispatched they wouldn’t know. You could call the police station where it was reported and ask them. There are tons of snakes in NJ. You just haven’t seen one yet I guess.
I wasn’t serious in my question, so I won’t be calling them. Yes I know there are snakes all over and yes I have been in close proximty to one in my own neighborhood. Thankfully I didn’t know and my friend called me over away from it knowing my fear.

Unless it was a rattlesnake, any snake will bite if threatened
Has anybody seen my snake?
Twice on accident…I’m sorry but it still dont know Marlene or how to get rid of that rash, best of luck though bud!
Don’t touch or play with random snakes…
Dispatch didn’t advise if it was a wild or pet snake.
Wow!!! Never did I ever think there would be a snake in the state of NJ ???????
Laura Michelle Here’s a baby northern pine snake found not even 3/4 of a mile from that location
Nj has plenty of them
The sarcasm was obviously missed by a few ??♀️
Laura Michelle text lacks tone of voice.
This is one of my top fears….. I have a lot, but this is in my top 5
Probably in my top 2!
Roberta Staples Cartwright whats no.1 fishing in a thunder storm lol
Bob Michael Ha Ha!! I know you would have just grabbed it and thrown it!
Krizia Maria Gonzalez ☝?

WTF?
Lots of snakes in NJ but, was this one a patient at Ocean Mental Health? Asking for a friend.
Tim Reid it could’ve been a patient/student. says he’s 14 and there is a therapeutic school around the back of the building for grades 7-12
Tim Reid maybe it was show and tell day??
Heard it was an Anaconda in the mouth of the Toms River
Why was there a snake at ocean mental health?
Annette Crawford Hall
Snakes do live outside?
Sharon Lynn Huber don’t roll your eyes at me.. It doesn’t say outside or inside. I was just asking a question
Annette Crawford Hall don’t be judgemental – snakes have issues too
Andy Nemec lol
I’m shocked at how many OC residents don’t realize that there are many different species of snakes that are indigenous to the pinelands.
If it was a pet snake it would have to be a ball python they actually hurt I have 2 thank God they havent bitten me but my corn has and they dont hurt neither do grandener snakes lol
Allison DeStefano garter
Probably just a garter snake
Ewwww, I hate snakes!! I hope they’re gonna be ok
Only 2 venomous snakes in New Jerseym The Timber Rattlesnake which is endangered so its very highly unlikely that’s what this snake was & there is the Northern Copperhead which as it says, resides in the Northern Region of New Jersey. This most likely was a Garter Snake which doesnt hurt when bitten or it could be the Northern Pine Snake which does hurt when bitten, but both are non venomous. Snakes rarely attack just because, they need to be spooked bad or threatened. Snakes are generally not dangerous & are around you whether you know it or not, we just tend to not look for them. Leave them be if you see them unless they are in your house or blocking a roadway, driveway, sidewalk, they are life just like you & I & I sure you wouldn’t want to be messed with or killed.
My worst fear.

Apparently it was a exotic snake, either a cobra or viper, that was either released or escaped from its owner.
