Toms River: Magnolia Gardens– Unsafe Conditions. TRFD responded to a hazardous condition at the facility. Now OEM & EMS Coordinators are on scene calling for 5 buses to relocate patients. Parts of the building are shut down it sounds like, and residents can not stay there tonight.

Patients are being relocated to other parts of the building. Additional manpower needed to move patients as all elevators are inoperable at this time due to the water leak

Evacuation from the site is complete. Water has been cut off, and JCP&L is cutting the electricity.
At this time we are not aware of the location where everyone was evacuated to, or if it is only a temporary holding location while further arrangements are being made.
The building has been confirmed as completely evacuated, and posted as being an Unsafe Structure.
A restoration company is on scene to start work.

Here is an updated picture. All patients are being evacuated .
Where are they being taken ? I have a family member there have not yet been contacted
At this time we are not aware of the location where everyone was evacuated to, or if it is only a temporary holding location while further arrangements are being made.
We posted pictures from the scene. While we could have gotten closer, we chose to stay at a distance to allow the emergency personnel and any patient family members do what they needed to do.
Thank you. Nothing worse for the responders than looky-loos and busybodies who get in the way.
(Not saying you guys are either — just a general comment of appreciation!)
Hope all are well and back soon ?
