Oct. 29th marks the 10 year Anniversary of Superstorm Sandy. It was the worst storm in New Jersey history and wreaked havoc in many parts of the state. Monmouth County was hit particularly hard and the MCSO, the Monmouth County Office of Emergency Management, first responders and everyday heroes throughout the county worked tirelessly to ensure the safety of all who were affected. In the past ten years OEM has made tremendous strides in planning and preparing for emergencies and disasters, and developed numerous programs to keep residents safe and away from the path of destruction, should another storm occur.
