The National Distracted Driving Coalition is promoting Oct. 20, 2022, as ‘National Do Not Disturb While Driving Day’ to educate the public about a feature that can help drivers avoid distraction.

  • Distracted driving claimed 3,142 lives in 2020
  • During the daytime, 481,000 drivers use a cell phone behind the wheel
  • Most crashes occur during the workday or the daily commute
  • Employers absorb costs associated with these crashes, whether they are on or off the job

Turning on your Do Not Disturb While Driving feature is easy, fast, and it’s the right thing to do. Don’t be selfish. Just turn it on! And tell your friends to do the same! Get involved: https://usnddc.org/do-not-disturb-while-driving-day/
