SEASIDE HEIGHTS: To celebrate (or mourn) the demolition of our beloved Bamboo Bar in SSH- we wanted to share a few pictures from the good ol’ days of the nightclub for some of us to relive the odor of booze, piss, vomit, & cheap cologne. Love it or hate it- memories (among other things) were made here during the weekends in summer. At one point; Seaside permitted bars & clubs to remain open until 04:00 with last call being 03:00. This resulted in many long evenings of non-stop partying. It is said the carpets & furniture have a built-in immunity to Covid, among various other diseases that threaten us today.

Whether it be a spouse, partner, girlfriend/boyfriend, or one-night stand that happened here- the iconic club is a storied part of Jersey Shore history. OCSN will have a full story (w/ artists renderings) of the complete redevelopment plans that will rise once the property is cleared- coming tomorrow. We also will share our countless interior photos taken on Friday of the bar- which appears like it was closed one evening and never revisited.

In the meantime- enjoy these photos from Summer 2009 when the place was at its’ prime!

Party On!
