Firefighters are battling a massive structure fire on Bay Ave in Brick that spread to the neighbors house, and damaged another home. Firefighters from Silverton, Pioneer, Laurelton, Herbertsville, and others are on location. Medics had to treat firefighters on scene for injuries. At this time it is unknown the extent of the injuries that the firefighters contained. We believe the injuries were minor and were treated on scene. As of now the fire is under control and is being knocked down. Firefighters are expected to be in the area for the next couple hours putting out hot spots and doing secondary searches.
