A storm that is heading into our area is already starting to create chaos in the area. Flooding is starting in low lying areas across Ocean County. Gregory from Portraits of the Jersey Shore shared this photo of a street in the Silverton section of Toms River starting to flood. While the rain is still a little ways away wind has been a contribution so far. Meteorologists are expecting major wind gusts as well as anywhere from 1-3 inches of rain until tomorrow. Please remember if you see a flooded road “Turn around don’t drown.” Flash flooding can happen in the blink of an eye. Stay tuned to OCSN as we monitor today’s storm.
