LBI: Update The suspicious package under the bridge has been cleared and the bridge will now reopen.

Ocean County Bomb Squad is on scene of the Dorland J Henderson Memorial Bridge heading into LBI due to a suspicious package found under the bridge. Traffic going in and out of the island is closed until the investigation is over. Stafford police released the following statement.
