A stabbing was reported at 215 Washington Street in Toms River at approximately 11:30 PM this evening. An officer entered the residence with his gun drawn and police were heard trying to convince a yelling man to calm down. At this time, there aren’t any details as far as what led to the assault, or even the current state of the victim. We will update when details become available.
