Recently customers reported the Santander Bank at 940 Fischer Boulevard is closed. The notice on the door indicates the branch is temporarily closed; with the ATM being fully-functional. It further directs customers to the bank website or APP to complete routine banking tasks- or find an open branch.
A quick search of the Santander website below shows this branch has limited hours, being open Saturday, Monday & Tuesday- with the ATM being open 24/7 of course. The nearest branch would now be on NJ 37 near IHOP, or into Brick on Beaverson as the Silverton Branch is reported closed. This particular branch, Santander #125 has a long history as being a bank here on Fischer. It was previously a Shadow Lawn Savings Bank, and briefly an Anchor Savings Bank. Then it got bought out with Sovereign Bank, which was a prominent bank here in New Jersey. Now finally, Santander Bank (based in Spain) absorbed Sovereign- and here you go!
OCSN is unsure the exact status of this branch, and for how temporary these hours will remain. Hopefully users of this bank can report back if they re-open on Saturday.
