Effective as of March 28, 2020, the data represented below identifies the municipality or mailing address which was self-reported by the resident at the time of testing. It may not necessarily represent the municipality of residence. All data to be updated by 8pm daily.
Look at the numbers, Jackson, Lakewood and Toms River represent 53% of the cases in Ocean and 36% of the deaths. If you add Brick the numbers become 66% and 52% of the deaths. Something wrong is going on.
Lakewood is the poster child for why social distancing is important. Brick and Tom’s River have similar populations, but much lower numbers of COVID cases. The difference?
