OCEAN COUNTY – As you’ve been reading for a few days now, Chef Gordon Ramsay is in New Jersey taping an episode of his popular restaurant makeover show. Now, the family of a young girl battling cancer is hoping their daughter could get a chance to meet him.
According to a Facebook post shared by Wolf Flores, the father of 12-year-old Kallista, she is obsessed with Gordon Ramsay.
The post reads “she is freaking out because he is in town filming. She is a HUGE fan! Obsessed is more like it! Please keep sharing this until she meets him. She wanted to use her Make A Wish to meet him. Please help this message find a way to Gordon Ramsay! She is a great kid and Gordon Ramsay is her idol! She’d even be happy with a phone call from him. Her room has a cardboard cut out of Gordon…she LOVES him. Please help a little girl with cancer get her wish!”
According to our contacts at Exit 82 Scanner News, Flores, who lives in Beachwood, said Kallista almost went into cardiac arrest when she found out Chef Ramsay was in town.
