Toms River: Last week we posted the story of the ceremonious start to demolition of the shitty Red Carpet Inn (Red Roof) downtown. As of today, it’s totally knocked down with rubble remaining. Crews are working to remove the debris and clear the land. We’ve heard it’s going to be a park all the way up to a 500-unit apartment complex. Until we get a definite answer, we will refrain from speculating.
