Lacey: RP just closed on a home on the 400 Block of Sinclair, and he claims the previous tenant is still inside. The unwanted guest told the new homeowner that he doesn’t want to leave, so the police are enroute. Dispatch also has the previous owner coded as a possible 10-37 (mental).

That’s why you have to do the walk through….
And…. If he was a renter and never got properly evicted it could take the new owner months and thousands in legal representation.
Sad thing – if it’s an elderly person and the family sold the house on them because they are unable to care for themselves. Their house is their last piece of independence.
Ahh will have Squatters rights if wasn’t evicted.
