We posted before, but November is sneaking up on us quickly. With so much at stake this year, we all need to focus on who we vote in for school board.

Over the summer we called on ALL candidates to reach out to this page if they were interested in promoting their agenda. We also will allow a public forum, so this is beneficial and transparent to all the voters. Remember- we CANNOT let the Lakewood Vaad get a seat on OUR school board this year.

This page has an endorsement ready, and I am about to make an announcement. I am giving ALL candidates ONE more chance to reach out to the page and make their agendas known. I already am urging everyone to NOT vote incumbents, and NOT vote anyone who has pending ethics charges on them, works in the radio room and hates this page.

So far, it looks like Robert Onofrietti is going to earn our nomination soon.

MORE TO COME!

Below is a run-down of candidates from the TR Patch article dated: 07/31/2018.

“The South Toms River seat currently is held by Gidalty “Gigi” Esparza, who is the longest-serving member currently on the board. She is seeking re-election to her third term on the board. Challenging her for the seat is Anna Polozzo, a blogger and mother of two district students who is a regular attendee and speaker at school board meetings. Polozzo is running under the banner “Children First.”

The other two seats up for election are currently led by Joseph Nardini and Christopher Raimann, both of whom were elected in November 2015. Nardini serves as the board vice president. The two were running mates when they were elected to the board.

This time, they have different running mates. Nardini is running with Danielle LeBright, and they are running under the banner “Working Together.”

Raimann is running with Jennifer Howe, a mother of five who is a regular attendee and speaker at board meetings. They are running under the banner “Transparency Tradition Truth.”

Also running is Robert Onofrietti Jr., who lost his re-election bid last year. He and Renee Wohlrab are running under the banner of “Children, Community First.”

Any other candidate that wishes to make amends with this page and staff should do so very shortly. You can reach out to [email protected] to schedule a Q & A session. Onofrietti will be holding a forum soon for our fans to ask them questions about how he promises to put Children & Community First.
