In about a month, the exterior of the shuttered Toms River Diner has shown significant progress. The bottom photo shows the condition as it sits today, compared with the top two which were taken about a month ago. The owner currently operates an existing diner in the Holiday City section of Berkeley.
Neon lights, new signage, and a red building top are all visible to the passing motorists now. It appears the owner has to finish reconstructing the parking lot, and pass final inspections. There has been a “Now Hiring” sign outside for a few weeks now if anyone needs a job.

I can’t wait till they open…. last time I went the food wasnt so good. Hope things change. Would be nice to have a place I can walk to

I was thinking of trying it but does anyone know which diner in Holiday City they operate? One I know of is pretty good but another isn’t and I wouldn’t hold out hopes they would do any better here.
