Trader Joe’s is permit official despite multiple inquiries to Trader Joe’s Corporate which stated they weren’t currently looking intensely at Brick.
The township’s zoning office issued a permit Tuesday to Retail Project Management NY of Holbrook, New Jersey, for the space in Brick Plaza previously occupied by Ethan Allen. The space will be rehabbed for a Trader Joe’s.
Trader Joe’s got its start as a convenience store in Southern California. It has grown into a national chain of 487—and counting—stores, with more than 41,000 employees called “crew members.”
