Toms River: Jamestowne Village- Structure Fire. Reported in Building 22
Reported flames showing on first and second floor. FD preparing to open the roof.
As per command on scene; all TR manpower being requested to their stations for coverage.
Two reported injuries so far; one patient with a burn to the hand from the fire.
All utilities requested to respond, and OEM is enroute.
15 Minutes Update: Fire has spread to the attic; roof is getting opened.

We saw Silverton fire trucks flying down Hooper and were surprised because they had Seabreeze closed all night from an incident there. Literally went from one to the other. Sending prayers no residents were hurt!!

Inspector Kevin Britton of the Toms River Bureau of Fire Prevention, along with Travis Seaman of the Toms River Police Department and Chris Bonner of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office were able to determine the origin of the fire to be in the kitchen on top of the stove. The fire started due to unattended cooking oil in a pan, which had ignited.
