BARNEGAT – Police are investigating a bank robbery that took place on Friday afternoon in the township.
Police said the incident happened at the M&T Bank located in the Big Lots Plaza on North Main Street around 4 p.m.
The man was seen on surveillance video handing the teller a note. He didn’t show a weapon, according to police.
The suspect is described as white male last seen wearing a blue oxford shirt, dark pants, sneakers and a dark baseball cap.
