Less than 24 hours since Ashley Combs was reported as being safely in the hands of the fine officers at the Toms River Police Department, we are faced with a new mystery connected to the name Combs.
The name Brian Keith Combs showed up on our radar after being alerted to it by a fan of the page. A quick visit to the Ocean County Jail Inmate Lookup Page tells us that Combs was confined on March 28th, 2019 with the charges of OBSTRUCT ADMINISTRATION OF LAW [2C:29-1A] and INTERF CUSTODY CHILD – CONCEAL [2C:13-4A(1)].
Toms River Police Department have stated they would be releasing a statement on Ashley’s Dissapearance today, and we are hoping this will bring us all the details we have been missing. Stay Tuned to Ocean County Scanner News for more details.

Matthew Tursi he broke the law keeping her. He doesn’t have custody. He’s the biological father but doesn’t have legal rights. The uncle is the legal guardian. There is a reason the courts found him unfit and he went against their ruling
He most certainly didn’t do the right thing by lying about her whereabouts, but I also imagine it would have been very difficult to turn her away. This is a sad situation all around. And it just goes to show you that while removing kids from their parents custody might be in the best interest for the child, in some cases it might be beneficial for them to have even supervised visitations. Whatever the family dynamic here is, I hope that they can all get past this and move forward in a positive way.
Something is terribly wrong within the family and that poor girl is caught in the middle.I know a young lady going thru something similar.Her mom is a prostitute on a street corner who’s left the girl alone with strangers but she still wants to be with mom just because she is her mom.

Money is usually a factor in their opinion. The one with it, gets what they want. That being said, we don’t know all of the story. And I’d break every law on the books to protect my child.

I watched a woman class she wanted her daughter to know the man who molested her because he was still family and they still gave her custody, I watched the court overlook a woman hitting a man in front of the kids only because the man didn’t go to the hospital, and I’ve watched them see evidence a mother didn’t give the father the antibiotics for a whole weekend; even lied to the dad about the diagnosis so he didn’t know the kid needed them and still gave her custody…….. these are just a few examples…..

These systems are paid by the activity. If they give custody to the parent who is going to interfere and not co-parent, either the non custodial parent gives in and pays a lot of child support because they aren’t there, or they keep fighting in court to enforce their rights…..
The state actually creates a budget this way via SS Title IV D legislation.

I knew the Combs family prior to Hurricane Sandy when they were still in SSH. At that time they seemed like loving and caring parents. Whatever may have happened since then, they are Ashley’s biological parents and it can be assumed that she loves them, regardless of any existing court orders.
I am hoping that ALL the adults involved come togetherto work things at for Ashley’s sake.

It’s a very sad situation for the entire family.
Everyone needs to remember this is a young lady who is being torn with family custody issues.

There are reasons she is living with her uncle and they are no ones business. There were reasons behind the way he was and is raising her again not our business.
