While this was originally dispatched as an OD, we have been notified by someone with first hand info that it is not. Our original post is below.
Squad 26 has been paged to a Lanoka Harbor address for an overdose. The patient is a 22 year old female and is breathing at this time. It was stated she OD’d on pills.

Ive seen where one address is dispatched and when arriving on location its the wrong address. SPEED IS IMPORTANT…NOT ACCURACY

Tom bad info that’s how… And Zoie Winters idc if it was an overdose or what the problem is if you guys need anything over there IF I can help or anything I could TRY to do to help how ever I can lmk the dudes over there are always nice to me and have helped me out like good neighbors the reason I capitalize IF and TRY is atm I don’t have wheels or money but I’ll do whatever else I could during the last snow storm they came over with shovels and got me unstuck and cleared me a path when I didn’t have one they actually did it themselves to didn’t make me do it although I insisted to help they insisted to do it for me I owe em one

Ocean County Scanner News family members or someone will call the police and say suicide or over dosing it gets dispatched that way and sometimes the person who was called on isn’t suicidal or OD… not your fault it’s what was dispatched and its not the dispatchers fault either it’s whomever made the call.
