A project that has the potential to turn a portion of the Seaside Heights boardwalk into the Jersey Shore’s own version of Miami’s South Beach may start in a matter of weeks.
The developers of a massive beach bar, pool club and entertainment venue with the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop will seek approval for the third and final phase of approval for the project later this month. On Monday night, they pitched the final details of the undertaking to the Seaside Heights planning board during a preliminary work session meeting.
With a beach bar? I Can’t even imagine the amount of piss that will be in that pool.
Vicki Tartas that’s the first thing I thought of. Nasty place no matter what you do with it
Seems like they said this the same time last year
I rather swim in my toilet
Jim Neubig same!!!
I live 5 minutes away & I don’t even go there
Ray Guy
Make seaside great again
Who would be building it
Seaside will never be a family place again. The stores are nasty, the food places are dirty and there are way to much drugs. And the winter all the hotels turn into section 8 for the druggys.
Patricia Velardi seaside wasn’t nice in the 70’s when i was a teenager ??
Yes let’s keep adding more bars for the drunks who cause non stop problems but keep shunning marijuana smh

Well I think this is going to add Class to seaside heights and can’t wait for it to be complete , it will not be cheap to become a member so I can’t see it being used like a city pool ?! For the Debbie downers saying it’s going to be full of piss !
Monica L Celli
I also think they’re trying a higher end demographic with this.
There is no higher end demographic in Seaside Heights. This is going to be the new “Surf Club Sh*#*t Show South”

Ed Karecki remember going there when it was nice…SOOOO GROSS NOW
Biggest failure b4 it’s even started. ?It’s SLEAZESIDE….destroyed years ago & short of burning the surrounding towns….nothing will restore that area
Paula Zygmaniak Weber , look at what Asbury was and has now become. From back in the 70’s and early 80’s when I went as a kid for the rides, to the desolate ghost town it became with it’s gaping holes in the boardwalk, syringes strewn all over with condoms laying on the beach, to it now being big bucks to live in(waterside) and thriving businesses, Long Branch is another one… It’s possible, it won’t happen overnight, but if they start building up and adding places like this it helps.
When they added those condos by Spicy I used to rent them in the summer, they we’re going for good money and now you can buy 2 for what 1 cost back then, but that’s because they didn’t add anything else to the area and so you kept the same clientele (That was putting lipstick on a pig) but adding places like this may help.
Tracey Andino My friends live in Asbury & it’s gorgeous?
Gross
As long as the beach stays public!!
Misha Lynn Motuz
Tim??
Lacey Zara would be sweet
It’s like putting “lipstick on a pig”!
All of you seaside haters can take your “classy” ass to another town. Seaside is not meant to be classy and not trying to be. If you want class go to Asbury and sip a martini with ur pinky in your ass. Seaside is a beach town with local beach people. We dont care about being better than anyone, we care about each other, having fun, and enjoying life.
Chris Rutherford I agree!!! People will never be happy either way
Amen ??
Thats Going be One Dirty pool at End of Summer time ?. Salt & sand destroy filters ..

That pool is gonna have so much sand in it. Gonna wind up clogging the system and cause it to fail.
Awesome
Waste of fukin money I’m gonna laugh my ass off when it all goes under water into the ocean the whole seaside is a fukin toilet
The best way to fix that disgusting town is to level it with a bulldozer and leave it that way
you can do whatever you want to sleazeside. It will always be a nasty dump. It was in my youth and it is now..
I will be sure to stay far far away……
I don’t see this as a great idea. The boardwalk should be rebuilt with more rides, that’s what a boardwalk is. Can we look at Ocean City???
