STAFFORD – Stafford Police and EMS responded to an overturned vehicle outside of a residence on Nautilus Drive this morning, Feb. 6, at approximately 10:30 a.m.
Stafford EMS stated that “multiple crews” and “ample manpower” were required to assist at the scene.
“Under the command of [ambulance] 382, it was determined that a MEDEVAC would be required, as a precaution, due to the mechanism of injury to the occupant who was extricated,” stated an update from Stafford EMS officials.
The victims of the accident were transported from the scene for treatment. Stafford Township Volunteer Fire Company responded to help remove the victims from the vehicle.
“Stafford EMS would like to thank the Stafford Township Police Department, the Stafford Township Fire Company and our members for responding accordingly and assisting in every way possible,” they stated.
Saw that this morning and thought it was on its side. Did it fall off a tow truck?
Catherine Kelly why would you think it fell off a tow truck? There were two people in it that had to be airlifted.
Tara Nicole The way I saw the vehicle it looked like it was on its side. There was a tow truck there and no other cars. I just read the driver of the vehicle had a heart attach and hit another car. I didn’t think that it fell off a tow truck, I asked.
Catherine Kelly oh ok. I wasn’t sure. That is a reason to think that, that’s weird that a tow truck would get there first.
