Toms River: Expect police SWAT activity at the abandoned Pine Rest Motel on NJ 37 by the bridge this morning. The Toms River Police Department will be conducting a training drill at the decrepit motel this morning. No further information is available.
The Pine Rest Motel has been abandoned for a couple years now, with rumors of a new hotel to be built. To date, no activity has occurred at the motel except for boarding up doors and windows, and a temporary fence has been installed around the property.
OCSN has done multiple live events at the property in 2018 to show how bad the property is. Even though it is abandoned, rumors of homeless and drug activity have surrounded the motel in recent months. The original plans were to build a modern luxury hotel at the site, but this has been stalled. At last update, there were pending lawsuits against the developer from other local hotel owners in town.
Just saw them all out there. Was wondering what was going on.

Gregg Wildermuth sad story
Why not fix it up and give it to homeless vets
Of course drug and alcohol free homeless vets
How many people were living there ?
They should set it on fire and let the fire department get some practice too.
