ATLANTIC CITY — A Little Egg Harbor man was arrested after overdosing and crashing into another vehicle Tuesday night.
Daniel Cormier, 24, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, driving while intoxicated and other motor vehicle offenses. He was released on summons.
The crash occurred on Arctic Avenue around 9:57 p.m. Jan. 22. Authorities said Cormier was found unconscious behind the wheel of his vehicle. He rear-ended another vehicle that was stopped at a red light.
Cormier, who appeared to be overdosing on heroin, was administered naloxone by firefighters. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Medical workers evaluated the two occupants of the other vehicle at the scene. They were released.
Scumbag loser junkie. Stay home or at least a convenience store bathroom floor and overdose. Could have killed an innocent family! No pity here for this junkie who didn’t give a shit about anyone else life when he chose to drive!
