TOMS RIVER – No one was injured when a car caught fire this afternoon on the Garden State Parkway, police reported.
The car caught fire at mile marker 84.9 in the northbound lane in Toms River, police reported. The call came in at 1:27 p.m.
The fire was extinguished without incident, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
