Family and friends are raising money for a Sayreville woman badly beaten by her ex-boyfriend, who was shot and killed by police in Mantoloking Monday.
A GoFundMe page has been established for Teresa Lonigro, who suffered multiple fractures to her head and face, and broken ribs, after being beaten by Manahawkin man Edward M. Walsh.
Walsh allegedly beat Lonigro, stole her vehicle and fled to Lacey Township. Lacey Township Police tipped off Mantoloking Police that Walsh was likely at the Barnegat Lane home, formerly owned by an ex-inlaw.
