Recently, the Ohio State Highway Patrol released body camera footage showing a team of authorities coordinating the transportation of life-saving antivenom from the Toledo Zoo to someone in urgent need. The Ohio State Highway Patrol received a request for antivenom from Indiana University Health in October after an individual was bitten by a snake and needed immediate medical attention.

Troopers, deputies, and dispatchers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, and the Indiana State Police collaborated to transport the antivenom as quickly as possible. The footage highlights the teamwork and dedication of these authorities in providing life-saving support to those in need.
