Stabbing/cutting investigation from The Pool at Harrah’s Resort and Casino from incident that occurred on November 24, 2022.

Upon further investigation, Jamile Rivera is not wanted, and is not considered a suspect or fugitive at this time. Dante Braxton and Kamal Allen have been charged and are still wanted.

ORIGINAL STORY

On November 24, 2022, an altercation at Harrah’s Resort led to three individuals being stabbed/cut and four men being charged after an investigation.

At 1:31 AM, Officers were dispatched to Harrah’s Resort and Casino for a report of a fight at The Pool. Officers arrived to locate a disturbance in the valet area of Harrah’s and immediately learned that three individuals had been stabbed/cut. The victims, two from Atlantic City and one from Camden, NJ, were all treated on scene before being transported by ambulance to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for treatment of their injuries. None of the injuries are considered life-threatening.

An investigation conducted by Detectives Valmir Loga, Patrick Yarrow, and James Andros IV of the Atlantic City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Section led to the identification of the suspects. Wanted warrants have been authorized and issued for the arrest of the following individuals who remain fugitives at this time:

WANTED: Dante Braxton, 24, of Atlantic City.

CHARGES: Aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

WANTED: Jamile Rivera, 29, of Atlantic City.

CHARGES: Aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

WANTED: Kamal Allen, 34, of Bridgeton, NJ.

CHARGES: Aggravated assault (2 counts), possession of a weapon (2 counts), and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose (2 counts).

Additionally, one of the stabbing victims, Akbar Pearson, 33, of Camden, NJ, has also been charged with aggravated assault. Pearson was issued a summons pending a future court date.
