Recently, the New Jersey State Police welcomed Alex Mann to Troop “A” Bellmawr Station. Alex is a 22-year-old autism advocate, who stopped by to continue his mission of spreading autism awareness to law enforcement.

Alex travels to police departments across the country to not only show his support for law enforcement, but to also educate the first responder community about autism. Campaigning for the past four years, Alex has visited 249 police stations, including 15 state police stations in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, California and now, New Jersey.

During his visit, Alex enjoyed a tour of the station where he had a chance to see the troop cars used during daily patrols including our 100-year anniversary troop car, a Commercial Carrier/Safety Inspection Unit truck, and several police K-9’s. Alex also had the opportunity to talk to the troopers at the station about autism and how to interact when a contact occurs.

We would like to thank the Troopers United Foundation Inc. (TUF) for providing Alex with some State Police gear and a special autism pin created to show the support the New Jersey State Police has for the autistic community.

Please join us in wishing Alex continued success on his journey!
