Just prior to 12 pm the Keyport Fire Department was dispatched to a residence on Broad St for multiple reports of smoke coming from a structure. First arriving units found fire showing on the front porch and made quick work and held the fire to the point of origin. Due to a solid effort and aggressive actions there was minimal damage and crews were able clear the scene in less then an hour. Great work by all members!
