Last night, Patrol Squad 3 under the direction of Sgt. Vincent Reinecke arrested and removed numerous people for driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol on Township roads and highways. The Wall Township Police Department would like to remind everyone to be safe this holiday weekend whether driving or walking around our neighborhoods. We are committed to finding and removing these types of dangerous behaviors from our streets.

Damian Gibson, 46 yrs of Edgewater Park, NJ was placed under arrest by Ptl. James Yannazzone on the strength of a warrant out of Deal, NJ.

Steven R. Sanchez, 27 yrs old of Belmar, NJ fled from our officers on a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 18. Unfortunately for him, Ptl. Tim Margadonna and Ptl. Devin Corso located him in the West Belmar section of town. He was charged with eluding 3rd degree, reckless driving, under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance and DWI. Ptl. Megan Alexander responded for DRE evaluation.

Martin Gonzalez, 23 yrs of Neptune was placed under arrest for DWI by Ptl Tyler Martin. Gonzalez was driving on Highway 35 near New Bedford road when he was stopped. He was processed and released in accordance with John`s Law.

Andrew E. Albanese 20 years old of Ocean, NJ was placed under arrest for DWI by Ptl Devin Corso. He was traveling on State Highway 18 near Brighton Ave when he was stopped. He was processed and released in accordance with John`s Law.

Great job by our officers last night keeping our town and streets safe.
