October 6, 2021, has been designated Knock Out Opioid Abuse Day in New Jersey! This statewide, single-day initiative, organized by the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey, is taking place to raise awareness and to educate everyone regarding the link between prescribed pain medicine and subsequent heroin abuse.
On Knock Out Opioid Abuse Day, the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General and the Partnership for a Drug Free New Jersey are sponsoring a webinar entitled, “Where We Stand and How We Move Forward.” Experts will outline the current state of the opioid crisis and prevention strategies that can be used in your community to mark Knock Out Opioid Abuse Day in New Jersey.
