Brick: Around 7:30 this morning Police and Emergency Crews responded to Route 88 in front of Ocean University Medical Center for a 3 vehicle crash involving a Lakewood Police Officer. There were at least 3 individuals taken to the hospital. One individual needed to be extricated from their vehicle by the Fire Department. Route 88 was shut down in both directions for a police investigation. Unknown on extent of injuries. All 3 vehicles were towed from the scene.
