LAKEWOOD: Earlier this afternoon firefighters responded to a structure fire at 1618 Monmouth Ave at the Crossroads Apartment Complex in Lakewood. It appears the fire spread to two units. Video footage sent in by a follower shows heavy black smoke coming from the apartment as fire crews set up a ladder truck. The fire is currently under investigation.
