BARNEGAT: Officers are out with a male party on West Bay near the Wawa (west) at Interchange 67 for a disturbance. The male suspect was reported to be at the Wawa on West Bay (CR 554) screaming and starting fights with customers outside the right door. Customers and staff noted he was allegedly trying to start fights with everyone; and is known to be bipolar. Upon police arrival the suspect fled eastbound across the GSP overpass. Police made contact with the suspect on the road, and after a quick paper check was told to stay away from the Wawa. No medical assistance was requested nor needed from the male party.
