Jackson: Two weeks ago the Six Flags roller coaster El Toro derailed with people on board. It turns out according to a news report from the New Jersey Department of Consumer Affairs that “The train traveled most of the ride with the rear wheels in this position,” this contradicts what six flags officials said. They stated “During the ride cycle the vehicle axle position caused damage to the rear wheel assembly, track wood and track steel bolts.” Officials are still investigating this incident. As of now El Toro is red tagged which means it cannot be operated.
