BEACH HAVEN: A massive search for an aircraft that crashed in the Atlantic has been called off. A single 9-1-1 call came in around 11:30am for a plane or glider crash approximately half a mile out to sea on E. 26th street In Beach Haven. The 9-1-1 call was authentic and the caller left his information according to Sheriff Mastronardy. Initial reports indicated there was 2-3 people on board. Numerous helicopters, boats, and jet skis responded from Crews of the Coast Guard, New Jersey State Police, Ocean County Sheriffs Department, local police, fire, and EMS.
