State Police Seeking Public’s Assistance with Identifying a Suspect Wanted for Burglary

The New Jersey State Police is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect who burglarized a deli on Route 50 in the Belcoville section of Weymouth Township, Atlantic County.

On Friday, May 14, at approximately 5:40 a.m., the suspect was captured on video surveillance breaking into the Super Deli Plus and removing numerous cartons of cigarettes and cash from two registers before departing the deli.

The suspect departed on foot from the rear of the business and entered a wooded area in the direction of either Route 40 or Lenape Landing Condominium complex.

The suspect is described as White or Hispanic of an unknown gender, 5’08 to 5’09 tall, with a heavy set build. The suspect was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with three black stripes on each arm.
