LAKEWOOD: Police Searching for Suspect in Earlier Shooting

LAKEWOOD: Authorities are searching for a suspect wanted in a shooting around 22:45 this evening. Tonight’s shooting occurred in the area of Cedarbridge @ Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. Lakewood police are looking for the shooter, a suspect described as a heavy set black male with a red NY Yankee hat, and black Adidas shirt w/ white logo. Our suspect fled in a silver Nissan Maxima.

OCSN has no further details regarding the victim(s) and/or motive due to Lakewood PD’s excessive use of radio encryption.
