JACKSON: Yesterday OCSN posted a serious crash on Interstate 195 involving 2 occupants. We incorrectly heard it called as a fatal crash (DOA). That information was taken off preliminary radio reports; which can be confusing and subject to correction. As of the official press release from NJSP below; both occupants sustained serious injuries and were transported to an area hospital. Thankfully both occupants are still alive, and our incorrect declaration of this being a fatal crash was determined preliminarily by conflicting radio transmissions. OCSN stands corrected; and wish all occupants a speedy recovery. The NJSP along with their Fatal Crash team are still investigating the crash. We apologize for the confusion yesterday and if there is ever a time to be wrong- it’s in a way that a patient is still alive.
