The New Jersey State Police have arrested Skyler Eby, 26, of South Amboy, N.J, for DWI and seized $3,040 worth of heroin and oxycodone pills after he was reported as an erratic driver.

On April 9, at 2:25 p.m., Trooper Anthony Navarro was alerted by dispatch of an erratic driver traveling southbound on the Garden State Parkway in Middlesex County. A caller reported that a black BMW with New York license plates was making dangerous, multiple lanes changes.

Within minutes of receiving the call, Tpr. Navarro located and stopped the car southbound at milepost 131.2 in Woodbridge Township after he observed the erratic driving.

During the stop, Tpr. Navarro determined that Eby was under the influence and arrested him for DWI. After further investigation, Tpr. Navarro discovered that Eby was in possession of more than 7 grams of heroin and more than 132 oxycodone pills.

Skyler Eby was charged with possession of heroin, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, criminal under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and DWI. He was released pending a court date.

Charges are mere accusations, and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.
