TOMS RIVER: Power is expected to remain out through the evening in the Laurel Chase area. An earlier crash on Old Freehold @ Suburban sent a vehicle towing a landscape trailer on its’ side- and snapped a pole in half. Unknown extent of injuries, but the transformer was knocked off the pole after it snapped in half.

Old Freehold is closed between Mapletree and Suburban as crews make repairs.
