Motorist Aid Leads to DWI Arrest and Seizure of Gun, Hollow Point Ammunition, Drugs, and Cash
The New Jersey State Police have arrested Timmy Huang, 24, of Philadelphia, PA for DWI and seized a handgun, hollow point ammunition, more than $950 worth of drugs and cash during a motorist aid in East Brunswick Township, Middlesex County.
On April 3, at 8:36 a.m., Trooper Reymil Pasigna was dispatched to a motorist aid at milepost 80.3 southbound in the inner roadway on the New Jersey Turnpike. While speaking to Huang, Trooper Pasigna determined that he was under the influence and arrested him for DWI. After further investigation, Trooper Pasigna discovered that Huang was in possession of a .22 caliber handgun, hollow point ammunition, cocaine, ecstasy, prescription legend drugs, and more than $7,880 cash.
Timmy Huang was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a handgun and CDS, possession of hollow point ammunition, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of CDS, possession of prescription legend drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, money laudering, criminal under the influence, and DWI. He was lodged at the Middlesex County Jail pending a detention hearing.
Charges are mere accusations, and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.
