LAKEWOOD: Earlier this morning the Lakewood Fire Department responded to the strip mall at 60 Chambersbridge for a structure fire. Upon arrival, heavy smoke and flames were discovered. The fire appeared to have begun in the rear near the liquor store- based off radio traffic. Currently the fire scene is being investigated by the Ocean County Fire Marshall. Significant damage was done to the liquor store; and Knockout Pizza also suffered damage. OCSN has no further details or official police reports regarding this fire as of press time.
