PRESS RELEASE

Acting Gloucester County Prosecutor Christine Hoffman and New Jersey United States Marshal Juan Mattos are jointly announcing that Sean Lannon was arrested this morning in St. Louis, Missouri by members of the U.S. Marshal’s St. Louis Metro Fugitive Task Force.

Prosecutor Hoffman indicates “The rapid and successful apprehension of Lannon is the direct result of excellent collaboration between a wide array of local, county, state and federal partners. We are particularly grateful to the U.S. Marshal’s New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force/Camden Division as well as their parallel jurisdictions between New Jersey and Missouri for deploying their resources to rapidly apprehend Lannon, who was clearly a direct threat to the public.”

Marshal Mattos has stated “The identification, tracking and rapid arrest of Lannon was undertaken in the longstanding and finest traditions of the US Marshal’s Service. The USMS always stands ready to aid our law enforcement partners to ensure that jurisdictional and geographical boundaries do not slow down the critical efforts of law enforcement to apprehend and remove violent offenders from the street.”
